Yinxing College Wins National Third Prize at 18th China China Collegiate Computing Competition

Recently, the list of winners of the 18th China CollegiateComputing Competition (4C 2025) was formally announced. A team from our Facultyof Information Engineering and Management stood out in the Gaming andInteractive Design category, securing the National Third Prize for their work,The Four Symbols' Illusionary Realm: Physical Era (《四象幻域之物理纪元》).

Initiated by the Ministry of Education, the ChinaUndergraduate Computer Design Competition is one of the earliestcomputer-related competitions held for undergraduate students in China, hasbecome a vital platform for inspecting the achievements of university computereducation, promoting teaching reform and the cultivation of innovative talent,and driving technological development in the industry, attracting enthusiasticparticipation from students nationwide.
This year's competition has drawn tens of thousands ofsubmissions from 974 undergraduate institutions across the country. Aftermulti-level selection processes at the school and provincial levels, and aprofessional review by the organizing committee, only 3,830 works successfullyadvanced to the National Finals.Our team demonstrated both a solid professional foundationand outstanding innovative ability. Their work, The Four Symbols' IllusionaryRealm: Physical Era, centered on a creative theme design. The team meticulouslyused Maya software for detailed modeling of the scenes, characters, and props,and skillfully employed the Unreal Engine (UE) to organically integrate sceneinteraction with the main storyline. The overall quality and presentationeffect of the work received high recognition from the judges.
The team members—Shang Feiyan, Peng Haiqiong, and LiSen—were guided by teachers Wang Li and Liu Xiaowei. Following multiple roundsof refinement and polish under their careful instruction, the team successfullysecured the excellent result.
This award not only fully affirms the professional skillsand innovative practical ability of our participating students but also vividlyreflects the university's long-term commitment to fostering virtue througheducation, deepening teaching reforms, emphasizing practical education, andstriving to cultivate students' innovative spirit and hands-on competence.
