Ginkgo and PolyU to promote the construction of first-class educational hotels

On October 9, 2019, Dean Kaye Chon, Professor Cathy Hsu, Dr. Tony Tse from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) of and its teaching hotel, Hotel Icon, and Ms. Jacqui Shi, Project Director of a company of technology and consulting, visited the college and inspected the educational hotels in Nanxi, Yibin.

After the inspection, the team of Poly Uexperts gave positive feedback to us. At the meeting, Dean Kaye Chon expressedhis approval for the concept of construction of educational hospitals in Nanxi. He was willing to cooperate with us further, to work together for becoming amodel of hotel management education school in Asia and contribute to the cultivatethe talent for the global hotel industry. After listening to the inspection suggestions, Dean Li Ming expressed his grateful to the PolyU team and highly praised the profession and dedication of the them. Later, the participants discussed in topics, including design concept of educational hotels and facility management, construction of internship courses and training courses, cultivation of teachers, and then exchanged views on further communication and cooperation.
