The 2025 "Smart Tianfu" Culture and Tourism Industry Career Fair was successfully held at our Chengdu campus. Sponsored by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the event was themed "Youth Express to Career Success, Paving the Way to Good Employment."

The fair utilized an innovative "Government Platform, School Enterprise Linkage, and Media Support" model, creating a highly efficient and precise matching platform for College graduates and leading industry enterprises.

Headmaster’s Address: Navigating Industry Change

Headmaster Xia Mingzhong delivered a keynote speech,emphasizing the event’s significance in the context of major industrytransformation, driven by "Generation Z" consumption trends and thetechnological reshaping of roles by Artificial Intelligence (AI). HeadmasterXia advised students to upgrade their "interest" to "career aspiration" (志趣). Heoutlined the crucial "4+3+2 Time Axis" framework for careerfoundations: 4 years mastering core skills, 3 years refining transferablecapabilities, and 2 years building a personal brand.

Competition and Outcomes

The event utilized a closed-loop service philosophy focusedon "Competency Development + Job Matching + Follow-up Service."

Candidates from various majors participated, presentingtheir skills via VCR, detailed résumés, practical demonstrations, andsituational Q&A. An Enterprise Assessment Panel, featuring HR leaders fromfirms like Waldorf Astoria Chengdu and First Capital Securities, conductedin-depth evaluations and offered synchronized feedback to candidates.

Ultimately, 7 Gingko students successfully secured JobOffer Letters or Internship Acceptance Letters, effectively bridgingthe "last mile" from campus to career. This innovative model ofgovernment-enterprise-school collaboration successfully injected fresh vigorinto the development of Sichuan's culture and tourism industry.
