Gingko College of Hospitality Management is a full time, private undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Its history dates back to 2002 with the founding of the Yinxing International Hotel Management College. After being designated an independent college in 2004, it successfully transitioned into a regular private undergraduate college in 2020, officially adopting its current name. Guided by the core philosophy of “Achievement for Students, Service to Society,” the College remains committed to an applied, open, and integrated educational approach. To date, it has cultivated over 40,000 high-level applied talents for the nation.
Infrastructure and Faculty ExcellenceThe College operates across two campuses in Chengdu and Yibin, spanning nearly 1,000 acres with a total floor area exceeding 400,000 square meters. The institution boasts world class facilities, including the proprietary “Gingko Standard” Teaching Hotel, 124 experimental labs, and over 90 off-campus internship bases. This robust infrastructure is supported by a high-caliber faculty of over 1,100 members, where 81.5% hold postgraduate degrees and 37.1% possess senior professional titles. The team includes more than 20 nationally and provincially recognized experts, labor models, and academic leaders.
Academic Prowess and Research InnovationThe College comprises nine secondary schools offering 33 undergraduate majors across six disciplines. Notably, its Hospitality Management program is recognized as a National-level First-class Undergraduate Major, complemented by several provincial-level first-class programs in Tourism Management and Leisure Sports. In the realm of scientific research, the faculty has secured 859 projects at or above the city and ministerial levels, including two National Social Science Fund projects. The institution’s innovative output includes over 170 patents and software copyrights, alongside more than 1,700 published academic papers.
Industry Integration and Talent CultivationAt its core, the College focuses on a multidisciplinary professional system centered on "Major + Hospitality," "Hospitality + Culture & Art," and "Major + AI." By championing the "integration of industry and education" and "synergy between theory and practice," the College has fostered deep strategic partnerships with global hospitality giants such as Hilton, InterContinental (IHG), and Marriott.
Gingko College consistently leads the industry in terms of institutional reputation and social responsibility. It has been honored with titles such as the “National-level Maker Space” by the Ministry of Science and Technology and has received numerous provincial awards for educational achievement and legal education.
