Yinxing College Shines at National Pickleball Championship

Yinxing College recently made a significant impact at the highly competitive 2025 "China College Pickleball Championship," securing major honors against traditional sports universities. The tournament saw over 700 athletes from 82 institutions competing, making the level of play fiercely challenging.


The delegation, led by Dean Yang Cheng, demonstrated outstanding competitive strength, yielding impressive results across both the student and faculty categories.


In the rigorous Student Group C (Sports Major) competition, Yinxing College's students performed exceptionally well. The Men's Doubles pairing of Dai Chi and Wang Qifei excelled, utilizing precise control and tactical blocking to overcome multiple provincial teams and secure a remarkable National 5th Place finish, narrowly losing the final match. Furthermore, the college's Men's Singles player performed consistently across high-intensity rounds, earning a solid 9th place ranking nationwide.

The faculty also achieved high distinction. Dean Yang Cheng himself competed in the Professor Group D Mixed Doubles and courageously claimed the National Runner-up (2nd place) title. His performance throughout the event showcased stable play, tactical depth, and an inspiring never-say-die attitude, narrowly losing the final after a hard-fought battle.

These achievements are a testament to the team's commitment to intensive preparation, which included four hours of daily high-intensity training focused on technical refinement and psychological resilience. Yinxing College views this success as a strong validation of its sports professional teaching, talent cultivation, and overall campus sports culture development, significantly boosting its national recognition in the collegiate sports arena.
