In a significant move to deepen industry-education integration, Yixing College held an appointment ceremony for its first cohort of Industry Mentors on October 22. Principal Xia Mingzhong, along with other senior management, attended the ceremony.

Representing the new mentors, Ms. Luo Qian, Human Resources Director of Grand Hyatt Chengdu, spoke, framing the engagement as a "two-way commitment" between academia and the corporate sector. She expressed a firm conviction that the partnership with Yinxing College will flourish.

Principal Xia extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the newly appointed mentors. He invited reflection on two core strategic questions: Why appoint industry mentors, and how can the partnership achieve true integration? He stressed that rapid industry changes, evolving corporate needs, and the demand for "dual-qualified" faculty make this partnership urgent. He defined the joint mission as "Co-teaching, Co-research, and Co-creation" (实现“一课双师”、“一案双交”、“一生双导”).He Xia concluded by calling the appointment a "ticket for co-creating Yinxing," asserting that the industry mentors are not guests, but a key element to the College's educational mission.
