The Academic Affairs Office Organizes Special Training for Teachers’ Basic Teaching

On September 19th, in the college recording and broadcasting classrooms, the Academic Affairs Office organized a training for the new teachers' basic teaching norms. The training aimed to help new teachers to be familiar with the environment as soon as possible, to understand the teaching-related processes, and to ensure the quality and effectiveness of educational work. The training was presided by Mi Tao, the Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office. Xi Lili, the Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, new teachers of the teaching units, the teaching secretary, and the staff of the Academic Affairs Research Office participated in this training.


In order to help new teachers to understand the teaching process clearly and accurately, the Academic Affairs Office compiled and distributed the Teacher's Teaching Workbook. The training was divided into 5 parts to interpret and analyst, the basic norms of teaching operation, the management of course evaluation, guidance process of undergraduate project, using process of information system, and scientific research declaration.


After the training, Xi Lili, the Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Research Office, made a concluding speech. She pointed out that the purpose of the training was to help the new teachers meet to the teaching requirements as soon as possible. The basic teaching norms were the fundamental requirements for teachers and are the bottom line that teaching managers should stick to. She said, she hoped that all teachers could study the contents of Teacher's Teaching Workbook seriously, and internalized the basic norms of the college's teaching, and continuously improved the quality of teaching on the basis of guaranteeing the quality of teaching.
